Widespread service disruption affects Google, Google Account login problems, and Meet platform, hindering user access.

Google's suite of services, including Google Meet, Gmail, Workspace, and Drive, experienced login issues on Tuesday morning. The outage, which occurred between 07:22 and 08:30 PDT (11:30 am ET), affected multiple platforms requiring Google credentials, as reported by 9to5Google.

The issues began at around 11 am ET, with users encountering '502' error messages on failed login pages. DownDetector showed a major spike in user disruptions for Google, Gmail, and other Workspace apps. The outage affected over 6,000 users.

Google confirmed the outage and stated that engineering interventions were implemented to restore the services by 08:30 PDT. The engineering intervention was carried out by Google's internal engineering teams. Google Maps was quickly resolved, and the platform is back up for those who experienced issues earlier.

No specific reason for the outage was provided. However, Google apologized for the inconvenience caused and assured that they are closely monitoring the situation to ensure no further issues. DownDetector reports of outages are dwindling, indicating that services are being gradually restored.

As of now, no workaround for the outage has been provided. The outage impacted some Google Workspace services, as confirmed on the Workspaces Dashboard. Google is encouraging users to check the status of their services on Google's official Workspace Dashboard for updates.

Last week, Google Maps experienced a similar outage that affected its navigation and directions. This recent outage marks another disruption in Google's services, emphasizing the importance of continuous monitoring and maintenance to ensure seamless user experience.
