We are seeking a skilled WordPress Website Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in WordPress theme and plugin development, with proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript (jQuery and vanilla), and experience working with WooCommerce for e-commerce sites.

Key skills include familiarity with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Gulp, npm, Composer, Git, and working with third-party APIs (REST/JSON). A solid understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility compliance, and web performance optimization is essential.

In addition, the successful candidate will have the ability to build and customize WordPress sites from design files (Figma, PSD), experience developing custom themes and reusable components using tools like Tailwind CSS and SCSS, strong problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for design, user experience, and visual consistency. Good time management, independent working capability, and effective communication skills in written English are also required.

Educationally, a bachelor’s or associate degree in computer science or a related field covering fundamentals in programming, software engineering, and computer programming is preferred. Essential programming languages to master include HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and experience with MySQL databases for backend management.

WordPress developers should also be proficient with WordPress-specific resources and development practices, such as understanding the WordPress Codex, developer manuals, and plugin architecture.

The role involves crafting fast, modern, and responsive WordPress websites for e-commerce and content-driven platforms. The job can be onsite or remote, and the team is supportive, fast-moving, and cross-functional. Familiarity with deployment tools or Docker is expected.
