Virši Opens Latvia's Most Powerful Electric Car Charging Station
Virši, a leading convenience shop and petrol station operator in Latvia, has opened its 16th electric car charging station. This new facility at Satekles Street 2 offers ultra-fast charging capabilities, making it the most powerful in the country with a 320 kW CCS plug. Notably, electric car owners can enjoy free charging this weekend.
The new station boasts two charging points: one offering ultra-fast charging up to 320 kW, capable of adding 150 km of range to an electric car in just five minutes, given the car's acceptance of such high power. The other station offers 40 kW charging, which can still provide a significant 150 km of range in 40 minutes. Apart from charging, the facility also serves coffee to its electric car-owning patrons.
Virši's expansion of electric car charging networks is part of a cooperation with the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency. The company currently provides 50 charging ports throughout Latvia and plans to open five more by September. This latest station is the most advanced yet, showcasing Virši's commitment to promoting electric mobility in the country.
The new Virši charging station at Satekles Street 2 offers ultra-fast charging, free this weekend, and a comfortable waiting area with coffee. With this addition, Virši continues its mission to expand Latvia's electric car charging infrastructure, supporting the growth of electric mobility.
