Vauxhall Unveils Powerful Insignia BiTurbo with Impressive Efficiency
Vauxhall has unveiled the new Insignia BiTurbo, boasting impressive power and efficiency. The twin-turbo diesel engine delivers 192bhp and an impressive 295lb/ft of torque, improving 0-60mph time by one second compared to its single turbo predecessor.
The Insignia BiTurbo's engine was developed by Opel, Vauxhall's sister brand, with Opel engineers playing a significant role in its design and tuning. This 2.0-liter BiTurbo diesel engine offers lower emissions than the single turbo version, at 129g/km, and achieves an impressive 57.6mpg.
The BiTurbo comes packed with features, including Vauxhall's FlexiRide adaptive dampers and stop-start technology. It is available in SRi, SRi Vx-line, and Elite trims for both hatchback and Sports Tourer models. Pricing starts at £27,120 for the hatchback SRi and £28,615 for the Sports Tourer.
