Upcoming Elden Ring Patch 1.02 Boasts Anticipated Feature from Launch and Another Long-Requested One by Yours Truly Next Week
Elden Ring Nightreign's highly anticipated Patch 1.02, which includes the new Duo Expeditions (two-player co-op) mode, was officially released on July 31, 2025. The update went live during a server maintenance period starting from 1:00 AM Pacific Time (PT) / 10:00 CEST.
This update applies to all platforms including Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4. It is an official update distributed by Bandai Namco and FromSoftware, requiring no mods or workarounds.
The Duo Expeditions mode allows two players to embark on their Elden Ring Nightreign journey together. The update also brings quality-of-life improvements such as enhanced user interface and more Relic filtering options.
