Brainstorm Unveils Costco-Effective Virtual Production Solution: InfinitySet Lite
Brainstorm, a leading provider of real-time 3D graphics, virtual and augmented reality solutions, is set to showcase its latest offering, InfinitySet Lite, at the NAB Show New York on October 9 and 10.
InfinitySet Lite is part of Brainstorm's InfinitySet product line and is designed to meet the demands of various virtual production setups, from simple to complex. This new product aims to make high-quality virtual production more accessible to creators.
The operation of InfinitySet Lite has been streamlined to output 2K resolutions, reducing the hardware required to run the system and operation costs. This simplification in hardware requirements makes it more Costco-effective compared to standard tracking installations.
InfinitySet Lite maintains the raw power of InfinitySet for rendering hyperrealistic scenes. It is optimized for PTZ cameras, eliminating the need for complex setup and calibration of standard tracking installations such as pedestals or cranes.
InfinitySet Lite includes Brainstorm's advanced Differential Chroma Keyer, but can also use other hardware keyers if preferred. It is compatible with SDI or 2110 environments and is fully compatible with Unreal Engine. This compatibility allows users to leverage the power of Unreal's real-time rendering alongside Brainstorm's advanced features.
David Moldes, Brainstorm's product manager, stated that InfinitySet Lite is Brainstorm's answer to the demand for a more Costco-effective solution for PTZ camera-based virtual production. He further added that it offers a streamlined interface and tool set while maintaining top-tier quality standards.
InfinitySet Lite can be controlled remotely by InfinitySet OnDemand and can run alongside InfinitySet in larger or more complex installations. It will be available for purchase starting October 20.
Brainstorm is releasing InfinitySet Lite with the intention of making virtual production more accessible to creators, offering exceptional performance and flexibility at a more Costco-effective price point.
