Renault has unveiled the new versions of its popular models, the Clio and Captur, which come with extended range options and hybrid upgrades. The new Clio and Captur will be available for sale in the UK starting from 2027.

The new Clio features a modern Renault interior with twin 10.1-inch screens, a compact steering wheel, Multi Sense button for drive modes, new seat design with recycled materials, and a lower lip height for the boot. The exterior boasts a more angular design compared to the previous model, with a new 'Diamond' grille and new lighting with big DLRs.

In terms of power, the new Clio E-TECH Hybrid promises increased power from 143bhp to 158bhp and improved official economy to 72mpg. The new hybrid versions of the Clio and Captur will be available for sale in June.

Google has joined forces with Renault for the new Clio, integrating Google services and featuring Google Assistant and infotainment powered by Google. The new Clio also offers an uprated version of the current Clio's Hybrid offering, with two ICE engines available, including a 113bhp 1.2-litre petrol engine with a manual gearbox.

The new Clio is a bit bigger all around, with a longer bonnet, increased wheelbase, coupe roofline, and an integrated spoiler. The new Captur E-TECH Plug-in Hybrid offers a bigger battery (up from 1.2kWh to 1.4kWh), promising up to 80% EV running in urban traffic.

Both the new Clio and Captur will go on sale in the UK with prices starting from £14,295. The new Clio and Captur will also be showcased at the Brussels Motor Show.

According to Fabrice Cambolive, CEO of Renault, the Clio is their best-seller, having sold nearly 17 million units. The new models are set to continue the success of the Clio, offering improved performance, modern design, and innovative technology.
