Ultraviolette amplifies retail presence in 5 Indian urban areas, targets reaching 100 cities nationwide by FY2025-26.

In the ever-evolving automotive landscape of India, electric vehicles are taking center stage, and Ultraviolette is leading the charge. The Bengaluru-based startup has announced its aggressive expansion plans, opening new experience centers across the country, and unveiling a significant software upgrade for its F77 electric motorbike series.

The latest addition to Ultraviolette's retail footprint includes experience centers in Rajasthan (Jaipur) and West Bengal (Kolkata and Berhampore), marking their entry into these key states. These centers, named UV Space Stations, offer a full ecosystem with personalised test rides, vehicle delivery, aftersales support, and genuine spares. Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and Co-founder of Ultraviolette, stated that this expansion is about building robust sales and service ecosystems.

As part of its larger plan to reach 100 Indian cities by FY26, Ultraviolette has expanded its presence through local dealer partners, ensuring end-to-end services including sales, service, and support. The expansion reflects the company's strategy to build a robust and scalable customer experience ecosystem focused on service quality and performance while increasing geographic reach.

Alongside this expansion, Ultraviolette has introduced a major performance software upgrade, the Gen3 Powertrain Firmware, and a new "Ballistic+" riding mode for all F77 customers at no additional cost. The Gen3 firmware, based on data collected by Ultraviolette's proprietary Violette A.I. system, enhances throttle response and acceleration, providing a more exhilarating riding experience.

The Violette A.I. system, which monitors over 3,000 parameters during a ride, has been instrumental in developing the power delivery and handling of the motorcycle. The MACH 2 model, which includes features of safety and convenience like traction control, regenerative braking with 10 levels of adjustability, hill-hold assist, and the inclusion of Violette A.I. to enable adaptive system behavior, is a testament to this.

While the details about the Ultraviolette F99 and Mercedes-Benz CLA Electric were not provided in the announcement, the focus remains on Ultraviolette's commitment to innovation and customer experience. For those interested, a review of the 2025 Ultraviolette F77 is worth a read.

As India gears up for a shift towards electric vehicles, Ultraviolette is setting the pace, transforming the automotive landscape one ride at a time. With its expansion and software upgrade, the company aims to be present in 100 cities by FY2026, offering a diverse range of models including the Ultraviolette Shockwave, F77 Mach 2, Tesseract, F77 SuperStreet, and the upcoming F99 and F77.

Ultraviolette has expanded its retail footprint, opening new experience centers in Rajasthan (Jaipur) and West Bengal (Kolkata and Berhampore), as part of its goal to be present in 100 cities by FY2026. The Gen3 Powertrain Firmware software upgrade, introduced for all F77 electric motorbike series, has enhanced throttle response and acceleration, providing a more exhilarating riding experience.
