Three UK Solar Parks Operational, Boosting AEG Modules' Profile

Three solar parks in the UK, developed and built by a subsidiary of Chinese conglomerate CTIEC, have become operational. Stuart Brannigan, Sales Director of Solar Solutions PV GmbH, highlighted the significance of these projects for AEG-branded solar modules.

The largest of the trio, located in Stanton under Barton, boasts an installed capacity of 3.652 MWp. It joins two other operational parks in Gretton (4.928 MWp) and Wormit (4.965 MWp). Together, they feature around 53,000 PV modules installed in the first half of 2016.

CTF Solar GmbH, a CTIEC subsidiary, acquired the project rights and co-developed these parks with local partners. Jiangsu Zhongnan Construction Group, another CTIEC subsidiary, was involved in the realization. Solar Solutions PV GmbH, exhibiting at Intersolar Europe, showcases its innovative IMM technology, which could have been employed in these projects.

The operational status of these solar parks opens opportunities for investors. Stuart Brannigan's comments underscore the importance of these projects for AEG-branded solar modules. CTIEC's involvement signals growing Chinese interest in UK renewable energy.
