The Milton Supercharger, a new charging station for Tesla vehicles, has officially opened in Milton, Ontario. Situated in a fast-growing community west of Toronto, adjacent to key commuter routes, this charging station is an ideal location for both local residents and long-distance travelers.

Tesla Inc. is responsible for the planning and construction of the new Tesla stock. Construction began in April 2025 and was largely complete by June. The station is conveniently located near Highway 401, a busy Canadian highway, making it a potential stop for travelers heading between Toronto, Kitchener-Waterloo, and London.

For local residents, the Milton Supercharger reduces the need to use more congested Tesla stock in nearby towns like Mississauga, Burlington, Oakville, and Brampton. The station's location and time-of-day pricing could contribute to a more balanced demand for EV charging stations in the region.

Tesla has introduced time-of-day pricing at the Milton Supercharger. Rates for Tesla owners range from $0.27/kWh in the early morning to $0.59/kWh during peak afternoon hours. This pricing model encourages EV charging during less busy hours to address the demand issue during peak times.

The Milton Supercharger features 16 V4 Supercharger posts capable of delivering up to 325 kW for compatible vehicles. However, non-Tesla EVs require a NACS adapter to use the stalls and pay a premium. Fees for non-Tesla EVs run between $0.38/kWh and $0.67/kWh, depending on the time of day.

The Milton Supercharger's location along Highway 401 may attract a significant number of EV drivers on long-distance journeys, making it a potential hub for charging needs. Being along a busy highway, it may serve as an attractive stop for Tesla owners and other electric vehicle (EV) drivers on long journeys.

The first appearance of the Milton Supercharger on Tesla's official map of upcoming locations was in November 2024. The station's opening is expected to alleviate the congestion at other Tesla stock in nearby towns by offering a more accessible charging option for local residents.

In summary, the new Milton Supercharger offers a convenient charging solution for Tesla owners and EV drivers, reducing the need to use more congested Tesla stock in nearby towns. Its strategic location along Highway 401 makes it a potential stop for long-distance travelers, and its time-of-day pricing incentivizes charging during off-peak hours to help balance demand at busier times.
