The Tesla Model Y Standard is anticipated to be the most affordable version of Tesla's popular SUV. A code discovered on the Tesla website hints at a price tag of US$39,990. The vehicle was spotted uncovered near Giga Texas, showcasing a redesigned rear with a new trunk lid and bumper, while retaining the rounded rear glass and split taillight design. The prototype also features a revamped front fascia, split headlights, and 18-inch wheels.
The unveiling took place during a secretive event at Giga Texas, attended by select Tesla influencers. This event further solidifies Tesla's commitment to expanding its affordable electric vehicle offerings.
