Tesla Introduces New Promotions for Tesla Owners
Tesla has recently announced several promotions aimed at stimulating sales, including the reinstatement of the Full Self-Driving (FSD) transfer program and various discount offers for its customers.
The FSD transfer program is now available for Model 3, Model Y, Model X, Model S, and the Cybertruck. This means that Tesla owners can transfer their FSD license to a new vehicle for free, provided they meet certain requirements. To do this, customers should not select the FSD package during their new Tesla order, inform their Tesla advisor of their intention to transfer the existing FSD license, and on delivery day, Tesla will deactivate FSD on the old vehicle and activate it on the new one.
It is important to note that the FSD transfer process does not have a time limit at present, and the transfer is applicable in all North American countries, as well as in Europe and the Middle East. However, the Foundation-Series and Launch-Series Model Ys are excluded from the FSD transfer for the Cybertruck.
In addition to the FSD transfer, Tesla has introduced a Model Y discount offer for early owners. This offer is only applicable to the earliest Model Y owners and requires customers to contact their delivery representative through the smartphone app to activate the transfer. The Model Y discount offer has not been extended to Canada, as of the current information.
The Model 3 is also eligible for a 0% APR financing offer, which is limited to the United States. Another promotion by Tesla is offering a $2,000 discount campaign for the earliest Model Y owners in the United States, if they upgrade to the latest version.
Tesla has also introduced zero percent financing and a $2,000 incentive for early customers on select models. These promotions were announced early in the second quarter of 2025.
The FSD transfer promotion is currently valid at least through September 30, 2025, and may be extended depending on regulatory developments, especially as Tesla prepares for FSD approvals in Europe. The Model Y discount offer and the 0% APR financing offer are separate from the previously mentioned promotions.
