DC Studios is gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated first feature film, titled "Superman." The film, produced by DC Studios heads Peter Safran and James Gunn, with Gunn directing from his own screenplay, is scheduled for a worldwide release on July 11, 2025.
The film is based on characters from DC Comics, with Superman created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. David Corenswet takes on the dual role of Superman/Clark Kent, while Rachel Brosnahan stars as Lois Lane and Nicholas Hoult portrays Lex Luthor. The star-studded cast also includes Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, María Gabriela de Faría, Wendell Pierce, Alan Tudyk, Pruitt Taylor Vince, and Neva Howell.
Henry Braham serves as the director of photography, Beth Mickle as the production designer, Judianna Makovsky as the costume designer, and John Murphy and David Fleming as composers. The film is executive produced by Nikolas Korda, Chantal Nong Vo, and Lars Winther.
A unique aspect of the film is a custom graphics card featuring Superman and his loyal companion Krypto, hand-painted by Jim Lee. The graphics card, a GeForce RTX 5090 Founders Edition, has been signed by Jim Lee, transforming it into a unique work of art. This custom graphics card is a collector's item and part of the prize pool for the GeForce Summer of RTX promotion.
NVIDIA GeForce has teamed up with Jim Lee, President, Publisher, and Chief Creative Officer of DC Comics, to create this one-of-a-kind graphics card. Jim Lee exhibited his signed, hand-painted GeForce RTX 5090 Founders Edition at the Big Bang KI Festival, a major AI event in Berlin, before it was awarded as a prize in the GeForce Summer of RTX promotion.
