Siemens Smart Infrastructure and Microsoft have joined forces to transform the way IoT data is accessed in buildings. This collaboration aims to integrate Siemens’ digital building platform, Building X, with Microsoft Azure IoT Operations (enabled by Azure Arc).
The integration leverages open industry standards like the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web of Things (WoT) and Open Platform Communications Unified Architecture (OPC UA), enabling different hardware and software to communicate using a common, open framework.
