Seiko has unveiled its newest timepiece, a Pepsi-themed watch that beats out Rolex in terms of authenticity.
Seiko and Pepsi Unveil Limited-Edition Watch Collection
In a groundbreaking collaboration, Seiko and Pepsi have joined forces to release the Seiko 5 Sports x Pepsi collection, a limited-edition series of two unique watches. The collection, featuring 7,000 pieces of each model, was launched in September 2025 [1][2][4].
The first watch in the collection is the Seiko 5 Sports SSK047 (GMT Watch). This timepiece boasts a 42.5mm stainless steel case with a black hard coating, pairing perfectly with its bidirectional bezel in the iconic red and blue "Pepsi" colours [1][5]. The bezel is made of transparent Hardlex with a printed scale underneath, adding an extra layer of sophistication.
The movement powering the SSK047 is Seiko’s 4R34 automatic with GMT function, allowing for a second time zone. The dial is black with large luminous markers outlined in blue, and a red 24-hour GMT hand. The Pepsi logo adorns the 6 o’clock position in an updated style. The second watch in the collection is the Seiko 5 Sports SRPL99 (Dive Watch). This retro-inspired dive watch features a 38mm stainless steel case and a Pepsi dive bezel in red and blue colours. The movement is the standard automatic Seiko 5 Sports caliber. The dial showcases classic Seiko 5 Sports style with Pepsi branding. The watch comes in a Pepsi-can-inspired box [1][2]. Both models display Pepsi’s official branding on the dial and case back, marking a unique collaboration where Pepsi’s century-old cultural influence is directly integrated into watch design.
