Samsung is set to release a new high-end tablet, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 5G, before the end of the year. The device is expected to be unveiled at the IFA technology show in Berlin on September 4, 2025.
The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 5G boasts a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor built on 3nm technology. The tablet will be available in configurations of 12GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB storage, and a top variant with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.
The device runs Android 16 with One UI 8.0 and features a dual rear camera setup with 13MP and 8MP cameras. The front-facing camera is a 12MP single lens. The tablet is equipped with an 11,600mAh battery, offering 45W charging speeds, and it supports Wi-Fi 7, optional 5G with eSIM, and has an IP68 water and dust resistance rating. The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 5G also includes a built-in S Pen and Samsung's DX software for enhanced productivity.
If the rumours are true, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 5G could be an attractive everyday carry device, given its slim design, with leaks suggesting it could be just 5.1mm thick. The tablet is expected to compete strongly with premium tablets like the iPad Pro.
In addition to the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 5G, Samsung has also unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S25 range this year and announced the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, revolutionising Samsung's foldable phone space. There are also reports that a successor to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is in development.
