Release Date for Marvel Rivals Season 4 and All the Juicy Information
Get ready, Marvel Rivals fans! The developers have announced exciting changes coming to Season 4 of the popular mobile game.
New Heroes for Season 4
The new heroes expected to join the battle in Season 4 are Angela, Deadpool, Daredevil, and Wolverine. Among these, Angela is highly anticipated due to teasers relating to her story and ties to Hela's family. Recent leaks and data-mined voice lines strongly suggest the inclusion of Deadpool and Daredevil, while Wolverine is hinted at through leaked skins and interactions.
Upcoming Release and Confirmations
The Season 4 release is expected around early September 2025, and official confirmation should come soon from the developers. Key details indicate that Angela might be the first hero for Season 4, connected to lore involving the eighth city and Hela's family. Daredevil's inclusion seems confirmed through gallery cards and leaks, expected alongside Angela. Deadpool's and Wolverine's inclusion are backed by leaked voice lines and in-game references such as their nameplates and skins.
Other Updates in Season 4
Season 4 will also bring new Team Ups, changes to existing ones, and updates to the game's mode and maps. For instance, the Team Up "Lunar Force" now includes Blade, and Luna Snow and Adam Warlock have a synergistic healing ability in the new Team Ups.
The Team Up "Ragnarok Rebirth" has been adjusted to include Loki, and the "Guardian Revival" has been removed. A new mode, "Resource Rumble," will be introduced, and the map "Throne of Knull" will be added.
Changes in Season 3.5
In the recently concluded Season 3.5, several Team Ups have been changed, with Luna Snow and Adam Warlock being added, and some being removed. Hero balancing (nerfs) were implemented for Black Panther, Wolverine, Magneto, Mantis, Cloak & Dagger, while buffs were given to Star Lord, Iron Fist, Spider-Man, Dr Strange, Groot, Thor, Adam Warlock, and Loki.
New Heroes were added, including Blade, and new Team Ups such as "Vibrant Vitality" featuring Mantis, Groot, and Loki (new), and "Duality Dance" featuring Luna Snow and Adam Warlock (new) were introduced. The Team Up "Atlas Bond" has been removed.
Other Changes in Season 3.5
Other changes in Season 3.5 include new ranked rewards, increased penalties for quitting, point compensation in Competitive Mode, voice-chat monitoring, text chat filtering, and shader compilation changes.
NetEase has shared the roadmap for the new update, which includes skins for Peni Parker, Scarlet Witch, and Iron Man. The current season, Season 3.5, will end on September 12 at 5AM EDT / 2AM PDT / 10AM BST.
