The studio boasts Sony FR7 PTZ cameras, chosen for their versatility in accommodating various lens requirements and providing robust remote control capabilities. These cameras offer large sensor studio quality and excellent picture quality, with the ability to interchange lenses.
The Nine Network can now remotely produce audio, video, lighting, and communications from Sydney, having complete access to the studio in Canberra. The studio includes production, news exchange, and basic edit facilities. The FR7 cameras feature high-performance full-frame image sensors, an expressive lens lineup, versatile remote control, and wide-angle shooting capabilities.
The Nine Network has completed the installation of Sony ILME-FR7 PTZ cameras in its remote-operated studio in Canberra. The new four-camera studio offers both fully remote production from Sydney and open plan local control in Canberra. This innovative setup is set to enhance the network's production capabilities and efficiency.
