New Restaurant Guide, Ultima Guide, Now Available in Uzbekistan
Yandex Eda's Ultima Guide now available in Tashkent, making it the first city outside of Russia to offer the restaurant guide. The launch was announced by representatives of the service on their website.
Yandex Uzbekistan selected 20 top venues in the capital of Uzbekistan through a combination of neural network analysis and voting by users and experts. The selection process involved analyzing over 3,000 venues in Tashkent based on over 100 criteria, followed by votes from 4,500 users of Yandex Go and 39 local experts. The list of top 20 restaurants includes establishments with various cuisines, such as national, European, and Mediterranean, as well as scenic restaurants and small cafes.
According to the project representatives, the guide will be updated annually. Currently, Ultima Guide is available in Russia in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, and Krasnoyarsk. In Tashkent, the guide is translated into Uzbek, expanding Yandex's reach in Central Asia.
The choice of Tashkent as the first city outside of Russia for Ultima Guide’s launch may be attributed to a combination of factors.
