New Electric Bike, the Ultraviolette Shockwave Enduro, Debuts in India at a Price Point of ₹1.50 Lakh

Pre-bookings for the much-anticipated Shockwave electric enduro bike, developed by Ultraviolette Automotive, will open on March 5 for a token amount of ₹1,999. The bike, priced at ₹1.50 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the first 1,000 customers, will be available in two color options: Cosmic Black and Frost White. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2026.

The Shockwave boasts an impressive array of features, starting with its suspension system. The front suspension is a 37 mm cartridge-type front fork with 200 mm travel, while the rear suspension is a mono shock setup with 180 mm travel. This setup promises a smooth ride over various terrains.

The Shockwave weighs approximately 120 kg, making it a robust and sturdy electric enduro bike. It features a beak-like front fender, covers for the front shocks, spoke wheels, a thin body, and a seat spanning from the fuel tank to the tail.

The Shockwave offers six levels of regenerative braking and four levels of traction control, ensuring a safe and efficient riding experience. It also comes equipped with dual LED projector headlamps and LED taillamps, providing excellent visibility in all conditions.

The bike's electric motor offers 14.5 bhp and a staggering 505 Nm of torque at the wheels. This powerhouse can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in just 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 120 kmph (claimed).

In terms of range, the Shockwave promises a claimed range of 165 km on a full charge. This should be more than enough for most daily commutes and weekend adventures.

Interestingly, the Shockwave is available as a single-seater as standard, with an option for a dual-seat configuration. This makes it versatile for both solo riders and those who prefer to ride with a passenger.
