New Bluetooth Speaker Launch: Kilburn III by Marshall, Boasting Retro Aesthetics and Over Two Days of Battery Life

Marshall has announced the launch of the Kilburn III Bluetooth speaker, which boasts a substantial extension in battery life and improved durability over its seven-year-old predecessor, the Kilburn II. The newly unveiled device offers up to 50 hours of playtime on a single charge, surpassing the Kilburn II's 20-hour capability by more than double.

The Kilburn III also outshines rivals such as Beats Pill and Bang & Olufsen A1, both limited to a 24-hour playtime span. With, its enhanced autonomy, users can immerse themselves in Marshall's signature True Stereophonic sound, resonating robustly both indoors and outdoors. The speaker's redesigned acoustics deliver balanced low, mid, and high frequencies even at maximum volume, according to the manufacturer.

The Kilburn III dons an aesthetic that remains close to its forebear, boasting a distinctive strap for easy transportation, metallic protective grilles on the sides, and sizable controls styled after the brand's guitar amps for volume and frequency management. The device weighs approximately 3.1 kilograms, making it slightly heavier than its predecessor by half a kilogram. Its dimensions measure 273 x 150 x 169 millimeters.

The Kilburn III offers enhanced resistance against water and dust, boasting an IP54 rating that offers protection against splashes and dust. This upgrade allows the speaker to be used even in light rain and doubles as a power bank, capable of charging smartphones and other devices via USB.

Interested consumers can already pre-order the Kilburn III on Marshall's official website for $380. The device is set for release on June 10.
