Moglix fuels the expansion of India's electronics sector through the provision of over 50 brands on its platform.
Rahul Garg, a distinguished alumnus of IIT Kanpur, ISB Hyderabad, and Harvard Business School, is making waves in the Indian electronics industry. As the Founder and CEO of Moglix, one of Asia's largest industrial supply chain platforms, Garg is steering India's ambition to become a global hub for advanced manufacturing and semiconductors.
Before embarking on this entrepreneurial journey, Garg led semiconductor design initiatives at Google Asia and Freescale Semiconductor, where he holds 16+ patents. This technical background has been instrumental in his mission to build resilient, technology-led procurement ecosystems in India.
Moglix, a B2B e-commerce platform based in Asia, provides end-to-end procurement support to enterprises, enabling them to scale with speed, reliability, and resilience. The platform offers features such as global consolidation, multi-currency billing, alternate sourcing options, and just-in-time deliveries.
Garg's vision is not limited to the domestic market. He is expanding Moglix's role as a trusted partner in the electronics ecosystem, connecting global technology leaders with Indian enterprises. Among the global suppliers now part of Moglix's network are the SCHURTER Group (Switzerland), Hangzhou Silan Microelectronics (China), MoMAGIC Technologies (India), and Motor-Comm Electronics (China).
At Electronica India 2025 in Bangalore, Moglix onboarded over 50 suppliers onto its platform, further expanding its B2B supply chain offerings in sectors such as industrial equipment, safety gear, and electrical components.
The Indian electronics industry is projected to grow from around $130 billion in 2025 to $500 billion by 2030, at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 26 percent. Exports in the Indian electronics industry are expected to grow from $28 billion to $61 billion by 2030.
Garg believes that resilient supply chains will determine the pace and extent of India's growth in the electronics and semiconductor sectors. He has been recognised among Fortune 40 Under 40, Forbes Tycoons of Tomorrow, and IIT Kanpur Distinguished Alumnus for his contributions to the industry.
Moglix has a strong presence across India's major industrial hubs including Bangalore, Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Pune, Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Vadodara, Jaipur, and Kolkata. As Garg continues to steer Moglix, the platform is poised to play a significant role in India's electronics and semiconductor industry.
