  • September 17: Nußbaumer Straße, Paffrather Straße, and Asselborner Weg.
  • September 18: An der Engelfuhr, Odenthaler Straße, and Brüdersstraße.
  • September 19: In der Auen, Reiser, and Herweg.
  • September 20: Kippekausen and Im Hilgersfeld.
  • September 22: Halbenmorgen, Voiswinkeler Straße, and Katterbachstraße.
  • September 23: Saaler Straße, Am Rübezahlwald, and Nußbaumer Straße.

  • September 27: Reiser and Franz-Hitze-Straße.

The police authority will also be conducting its own speed checks during this period. Information on these independent checks can be found on the police's website.

The new regulation, which was amended by the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government of North Rhine-Westphalia effective from July 15, 2013, under § 48 Abs. 2 of the Ordnungsbehördengesetz (OBG), places particular importance on the announcement of controls and the publication of measuring points.

Scientific investigations show that transparency, publication, and more controls bring about positive behavioural changes. Speed monitoring measures for reasons of traffic safety should be given priority according to the available material and personnel resources.

Mobile speed tests are planned in Bergisch Gladbach from September 17 to 27, 2025. The city urges all residents and visitors to adhere to the speed limits to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
