Leading the Space division at BDLI is Von Cramm
New Leader of German Space Division Aims to Boost Industry's Visibility
Magnus von Cramm has taken over as the Head of the Space Division at the Federal Association of the German Aerospace Industry (BDLI), effective May 5th. He succeeds Nicole Thalhofer in this role.
Reporting directly to Marie-Christine von Hahn, von Cramm's responsibilities include representing the political interests of the German space industry towards the Bundestag, the Federal Government, and European institutions. He is also tasked with coordinating with various stakeholders within the industry.
One of von Cramm's main focuses will be enhancing the visibility of the German space sector as a key technology. He aims to ensure the German space industry remains competitive on a global scale, another challenge he may face in his new role. Navigating the complex political landscape of space policy is another challenge he may encounter.
In addition, von Cramm will work on developing common positions and demands of the space industry in Germany. This could provide opportunities for the ongoing development of new technologies and projects within the space sector.
Von Cramm recently represented the BDLI at the Paris Air Show, where he was present with other German exhibitors[1]. His work in the space division will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and success of Germany's space industry sector within the association.
