Joint Raid in Bad Salzuflen Uncovers Black Work, Illegal Employment, and Safety Violations

A joint control action by the Financial Control Black Work (FKS) of the Main Customs Office Bielefeld and other authorities took place in Bad Salzuflen on September 24, 2025. The focus was on combating black work, illegal employment, and ensuring tax justice and public safety.

During the checks, several violations were discovered. Eleven employees in the mandatory ID-carrying sector were found without their ID documents. Additionally, a 27-year-old driver was caught without a driver's license, leading to criminal charges against both the driver and the vehicle owner. Minor issues were also found, including incorrect displays, fire protection deficiencies, inadequate labeling of escape routes, and food storage problems.

The inter-agency cooperation was key to the successful implementation of the control action. Despite initial checks revealing no major violations or significant immigration law breaches, investigations are ongoing to ensure all legal requirements are met.

The security authorities have confirmed that they will continue to carry out control actions to combat black work, illegal employment, and ensure legal compliance. The Main Customs Office Bielefeld, along with other authorities, remains committed to maintaining public safety and tax justice.
