Interview with HB-Laser Representative Discussing Their Laser Technology Exhibition Appearance

In the bustling world of laser shows and multimedia technology, HB-Laser stands out as a leading innovator. This year, the company will once again grace the stage at Prolight + Sound 2017, taking place from the 4th to the 7th of April in Hall 5 Stand D15.

Marius Leverenz, Key Account Manager at HB-Laser, shared insights about the event in a recent interview. For HB-Laser, Prolight + Sound is more than just an exhibition; it's a 'class reunion' where connections and partnerships are made. This year, the company is not only exhibiting its latest products but also seeking to network and build new partnerships.

One of the key products HB-Laser will showcase is the 3D HydroMatrix HD. This innovative product is distinguished by several unique features that make it a game-changer in the field of biomedical and tissue engineering materials.

The 3D HydroMatrix HD self-assembles into a three-dimensional nanofiber network when exposed to physiological conditions, mimicking the natural extracellular matrix environment. Made from synthetic peptides, it is biocompatible and non-toxic, minimizing the risk of adverse immune reactions. It supports cell adhesion, proliferation, and differentiation, making it ideal for various biomedical applications.

The hydrogel is liquid at room temperature and gels upon contact with physiological conditions inside the body. This thermo-responsive behavior allows it to be easily injected and then form a stable gel at the target site without the need for external cross-linking agents or UV exposure. The stiffness and porosity of the hydrogel can be adjusted, allowing customization of the matrix environment to better suit different cell types or experimental requirements.

The hydrogel is transparent, enabling microscopic imaging and real-time monitoring of cells embedded within the scaffold. This feature is particularly beneficial for in vitro research and drug testing applications. Unlike traditional 2D cultures, 3D-HydroMatrix facilitates physiologically relevant three-dimensional cell growth, supporting more realistic cell behavior, interactions, and tissue-like structures.

The 3D HydroMatrix HD's surface is scalable due to its modular system set-up, with no limits on size. This makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, from indoor use in shopping malls and hotel lobbies to more complex biomedical research.

HB-Laser values the opportunity to connect and build upon partnerships at Prolight + Sound. The company has been an exhibitor at the event since 1998, and this year promises to be no exception. In addition to the 3D HydroMatrix HD, visitors can expect to see two LightCube models and a steering solution based on Pangolin FB-4.

Prolight + Sound attracts a diverse audience for HB-Laser, making it an ideal platform to showcase their innovative products and solutions. For those interested in learning more about HB-Laser's offerings, be sure to visit them at Hall 5 Stand D15 during Prolight + Sound 2017.
