The luxury subbrand Riich, under the Chinese automaker Chery, has unveiled the new G3 model at the Beijing Auto Show 2010. The new G3 is based on the Chery A5 and boasts a redesigned exterior and interior.

The redesigned exterior of the new G3 features a modernised nose and back, enhancing its overall aesthetic appeal. The vehicle spotted at the show was the Chery Riich R2 M-MPV, but it is clear that the new G3 shares the same design elements.

Inside, the new G3 offers a comfortable and upscale interior, though specific technical details are not yet available. The model will come equipped with two supercharged engines: a 1.3S and a 1.6S, but information on the latter's specifications remains elusive.

The 1.3S engine produces 95kw at 5500rpm, while no new information on the 1.6S engine has been released yet. The new G3 will also offer CVT transmission for the 1.6 and 1.8 non-supercharged engines.

Spy Shots reveal a BIG touch screen for the Weichai Auto Yingzhi G3 in China, suggesting a focus on technology and connectivity. The price of the new G3 ranges from 77,900 to 109,000, making it an accessible luxury option for many.

The new G3 will be available with other engines, including 1.5, 1.6, 1.8, and 2.0, as previously mentioned. However, no new information on the 'S'-engines or the CVT transmission has been provided in this paragraph.

Overall, the new Riich G3 promises to be a significant addition to the luxury market, blending style, performance, and technology in a package that is both stylish and affordable. Stay tuned for more updates as more information becomes available.
