Stylish Sweat and Splash-Proof Design
Weighing in at just under 250 grams, the device comes equipped with a flexible neck strap and protects against splash water and sweat. The curved inner surface houses a metal plate that conceals two thermo-modules, and the top sports a fan to dispel heat.
Depending on your attire, choose between two nozzle lengths: one for T-shirts and the other for shirt collars. Air is drawn in from the bottom, providing an additional cooling effect. Switches on the sides allow you to operate the device, but the app is more user-friendly, especially while using the device.

With two temperature adjustment options, take control with the manual setting or let the smart automatic system take the wheel. This intelligent system measures body and air temperature, air humidity, and offers wear detection. It's a bit trickier for people with more prominent spinal processes. In this case, wearing the device slightly off-center may help. Once properly positioned, you'll feel the cooling sensation on your neck in a matter of seconds, and the device responds swiftly to manual temperature adjustments.

In our testing, the automatic function excelled in both cooling and heating modes. It prevents the device from overshooting the target temp, ensuring neck comfort. The ventilation noise is as quiet as a library – perfect for office use or a power nap.
Choose from five specific temperature settings, ranging from mild to powerful. This setting also determines the battery life of the device. For proper operation and battery management, especially when used in Smart mode, attach the provided tag to your clothing or bag.
High Endurance Battery Life
In our stress test, the endurance impressed – even on sweltering days with outdoor temperatures exceeding 30 degrees, the device ran for over 8 hours in automatic mode. If used actively in the sun with continuous high cooling, the device can last around 5.5 hours. Rest assured, these times are achievable based on Sony's claims.
On the lowest setting, you can enjoy up to 34 hours of continuous cooling, and around 18 hours on medium cooling. For heating, the battery life ranges between 5.5 to 10 hours[1].
Fully charging the battery takes 200 minutes, which may seem long during an emergency. However, extending the battery life becomes convenient by connecting an external power bank to the device.
