Infrastructure Support Map Aid for Businesses in Making Strategic Decisions, According to the Economy Ministry
The Belarusian government has launched a new online tool, the "Map of Infrastructure Supporting Entrepreneurship" (msp.by), designed to assist citizens starting businesses by providing quick access to information about the ecosystem of business support resources and infrastructure available in the country.
This interactive platform, managed by the Belarusian Ministry of Economy, offers a comprehensive, visual representation of various support institutions, including incubators, accelerators, funding sources, consulting centers, and innovation hubs. The map's primary aim is to help entrepreneurs make informed management decisions by showcasing where and how to access critical services for business growth.
Key features of the msp.by platform include:
- Resource Accessibility: The map identifies and organizes essential support institutions, making it easier for entrepreneurs to locate relevant resources tailored to their needs.
- Decision-Making Support: By offering a clear geographic and categorical overview of available resources, the platform allows entrepreneurs to make strategic choices based on proximity, specialization, or service type, enhancing efficient business planning and management.
- Networking Facilitation: The visualization of interconnected entrepreneurship support entities promotes networking opportunities and collaboration between startups, investors, and service providers, which is crucial for business scaling and sustainability.
- Guidance for Development: The platform helps users navigate complex support landscapes, promoting awareness of government initiatives, donor programs, and private sector opportunities targeting SME development and innovation in Belarus.
At a working meeting on November 16, Ruslan Neverovich, Deputy Director of the Department for Entrepreneurship, emphasized the usefulness of the msp.by web resource for Belarusian citizens starting businesses. He stated that the platform would help them quickly orient themselves when making management decisions.
The "Map of Infrastructure Supporting Entrepreneurship" web resource has been operational since May and is expected to play a significant role in the Belarusian government's plans to increase exports of goods and services to distant countries by 2024.
