The exhibition, held at the Leeds Industrial Museum at Armley Mills, showcased the students' work for three days as part of this year's Leeds Heritage Open Days, with the theme being 'Architecture'.
The students chose a modern style for their redesign, incorporating various architectural styles such as Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Gothic, Renaissance, Zoomorphic, Sustainable, Hi Tech, Brutalist, Post Modern, Baroque, Byzantine, Romanesque, Modernist, and Deconstructivist. The museum's rich history and industrial heritage offered a stark contrast to the students' modern redesign, making the exhibition all the more compelling.
As the exhibition comes to a close, the students can take pride in their hard work and the positive feedback they have received. Their innovative redesign of Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College's 19th-century front entrance has not only showcased their talent but also sparked interest and conversation about the future of architecture and design.
