Increased Sales and Profits Show Double-Digit Growth for Autodoc
Autodoc SE, a leading online automotive parts retailer, has announced impressive growth figures for the first half of 2022. The company's CEO, Dmitri Zadorojnii, stated that Autodoc is in 'excellent economic and operational condition.'
As of June 30, the number of active customers stood at 8.8 million, a million more than the previous year. This growth is reflected in the increase in orders, which rose from 8.3 to 9.4 million euros in the first six months of the year.
The average order value also saw an increase, going from 91.1 to 94.4 euros. This growth in both the number of orders and the average order value indicates a strong customer base and growing consumer confidence in Autodoc's services.
Autodoc has been investing in its growth, with the rollout of Autodoc Pro and the expansion of its B2B offering to customers in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Italy. The company also opened a new warehouse in Belgium in March, with another warehouse in Belgium being ramped up.
The B2B business saw a significant increase, contributing 64.2 million euros to the revenue, a 144% increase from the previous year. The B2C segment accounted for 13.9% of the revenue, totaling 825.4 million euros.
The company's financial performance is also strong, with a 18.5% year-on-year increase in revenue to 889.6 million euros in the first half of the year. The adjusted EBITDA increased by 12.5% to 80.9 million euros, while the gross profit rose by 19.3% to 378.1 million euros.
Autodoc also launched the Autodoc Marketplace in France in February and is in the process of expanding it. Despite geopolitical uncertainties and economic challenges, Autodoc has confirmed its forecast for the full year 2025.
Dmitri Zadorojnii leads Autodoc SE alongside CFO Lennart Schmidt as part of the management board. The company is maintaining a healthy balance between financial solidity and strategic growth, positioning itself for continued success in the future.
