In-House Debut: Satisfy Introduces Its First Trail Running Shoe Model

SATISFY, the popular footwear brand known for its collaborations with brands like Salomon, HOKA, and Crocs, has stepped into uncharted territory with the release of its first in-house running shoe - TheROCKER. Designed for off-road adventures, this trail sneaker boasts key innovations focused on all-terrain performance, lightweight construction, and advanced traction technology.

Key Features and Innovations

Upper Material

The shoe features a semi-translucent upper made from Rippy 66 Monomesh, a bespoke, abrasion-resistant fabric crafted from Nova Nylon 66. This material is highly breathable, resilient, moisture-wicking, and provides a snug fit.

Midsole Technology

The midsole uses SATISFY’s proprietary Euforia™ Super Foam, a blend of PEBA (Arkema) and EVA, 3D-printed for optimal cushioning without extra bulk. This midsole supports rolling strides and balances trail-runner stability with speedy responsiveness.

Outsole Design

The outsole is a standout innovation, featuring Vibram’s TuneLug® sole. This sole mimics the circular lug pattern and grip dynamics of RC car racing tires, providing multi-directional traction and exceptional grip across a variety of terrains. The lugs wrap 360 degrees around the midsole, enhancing durability and control from concrete to mud, while Vibram’s MegaGrip Litebase compound reduces weight without compromising traction.

Performance Aesthetic

TheROCKER combines avant-garde design with performance wear, with a chunky, tire-inspired outsole and semi-translucent upper that lend a unique aesthetic. The first colorways include Falcon, Shadow, and Antique White, emphasizing texture and depth through material translucency.

Versatility

Reviews highlight that despite the aggressive lug design, the shoe offers smooth, cushioned transitions on both trail and road surfaces, making it suitable for diverse running environments.

TheROCKER integrates material expertise, innovative midsole cushioning, and unique Vibram outsole technology to deliver a lightweight, resilient, and highly grippy trail running shoe tailored for varied terrains and performance conditions.
