In a span of two years, Almaty attracts a massive investment of $19.2 million towards the growth of its Information Technology (IT) infrastructure.
In the heart of Kazakhstan, the city of Almaty has been undergoing a significant digital transformation, thanks to the 'Almaty IT Ecosystem Development' project. This project, spanning from 2022 until the present, has seen a surge in technological growth and entrepreneurial spirit.
At the forefront of this change are 101 business angels, who have been trained as part of the project. These individuals are now ready to invest in the next big tech ideas, providing a crucial boost to the local startup scene. The project has also created 2,049 jobs, providing opportunities for the local workforce. Sixteen of the produced startups have even achieved international sales, showcasing their global competitiveness.
