IAA Transport 2024: Meiller Embraces Diversity in Full Commitment
At the Hannover Messe 2024, Meiller, a renowned manufacturer of tipping trailers and vehicle bodies, is displaying a variety of products designed for efficiency, robustness, and operational reliability.
The Tectris AK14 tipping trailer, designed for two-axle chassis of all drive types with a gross vehicle weight rating of 14 tonnes, is a new highlight at the Meiller booth. This modern tipping trailer features a reinforced loading bridge construction for increased efficiency and is equipped with the i.s.a.r. Control 3 remote control system, providing an easy-to-operate system that simplifies the work process through automated sequences.
The Tectris AK14 is not the only innovation on display. Meiller is also presenting the Tectrum RS21.70 roll-off tipper, specifically designed for use in cities and residential areas. This roll-off tipper features low self-weight, low-friction bucket linings made of high-strength plastic, and a purely electrically driven chassis, making it ideal for urban environments.
Heavy-duty rear tippers, such as the Maxtreme H436 with chain bucket and the Maxtreme P450 for the Chilean market, will also be on display. These tippers, characterized by their robustness, can transport up to 28 cubic meters and up to 50 tons of heavy material, making them perfect for high loads and extreme transport volumes. The new name Maxtreme emphasizes the robustness of these heavy-duty rear tippers.
Meiller is also showcasing its patented crane mounting concept, which offers a screwed-together design for efficiency during crane mounting and improved surface quality on the vehicle and tipper frame. Additionally, the new crane superstructure concept responds to the constantly increasing demand for tippers with cranes, offering multi-talents that can load and unload themselves, saving further vehicles in operation.
A new equipment highlight is the chain flap, which provides a mechanically operated bucket closure for bucket tippers. This innovative solution offers an alternative to existing rear wall solutions, combining the advantages of the two existing rear wall variants.
The Grandload semi-trailer tipper, known for its maximum loading capacity and reliability, is another product on display. This weight-optimized yet robust tipper performs well both on the road and in challenging terrain, thanks to a powerful hydraulic system from Meiller's own development.
Visitors to the Freed area, Stand A01/Q74/R76, can find both the Tectrum RS21.70 roll-off tipper and the Tectris AK14 tipping trailer.
Meiller's presence at the Hannover Messe 2024 underscores its commitment to innovation, robust design, and operational reliability in the field of tipping trailers and vehicle bodies.
