The city of Gütersloh and the ALTBAUNEU initiative of the district are offering a PV video advisory action for homeowners after the summer holidays. This initiative comes in response to the recent boom in energy experts, driven by rising electricity prices, falling module prices, and increasing electricity consumption due to the switch to heat pumps and electric cars.
Registerings for the online advice on PV systems are possible until September 24, 2025. Interested parties can register by phone at 05241 / 82-2129 and 05241 / 82-3919, or by email at umweltschutz@unsere Website.
The video advice will last a maximum of 60 minutes and will be conducted via Zoom or Teams. The advice will be provided by solar experts Thomas Eckstein and Richard Stefanik, commissioned by the city. Thomas Eckstein, a solar expert commissioned by the city of Gütersloh, is involved with implementing the district-wide solar roof cadastre.
The PV video advisory action is primarily aimed at owners of single or two-family houses who live in the object themselves. Owners and owner communities of partially or fully rented objects with up to four residential units can also be advised on the full feed-in of solar power into the public grid.
During the video advice, tips on system collection and current funding programs will be provided. The solar roof cadastre will be used for individual advice and comparison of different system concepts in terms of electricity self-consumption and profitability.
Private households can receive free, home-based advice on PV systems from independent energy experts via video conference. The PV video advisory action is being offered to encourage more homeowners to consider a movies system on their own roof.
