Gütersloh Launches Digital Parking Permits for Zone IV
Gütersloh residents can now enjoy a streamlined process for obtaining long-term parking permits in Zone IV. The city has launched a new digital procedure, allowing citizens to apply and receive permits within minutes.
The application process is straightforward. Applicants need only upload their ID and vehicle registration certificate. Payment can be made conveniently via direct debit, PayPal, or Giropay.
The digital parking permit, intended for self-printing, must not be altered or passed on. It features a QR code for direct verification by traffic monitoring staff. The permit is available as a PDF download upon successful verification through the BundID, a central online account used for many digital administrative services.
Fees for a Zone IV parking permit are 180 euros for six months or 360 euros for twelve months. Those unable to apply online can still submit a completed application form via email, fax, or post, with the permit sent via email for self-printing after processing.
The new digital procedure in Gütersloh aims to simplify long-term parking permit applications. Citizens can now apply for and receive permits for the area around the market square and the Weberei parking lots within minutes, making parking more convenient and accessible.
