Google Unveils Next-Gen Home Speaker with Gemini AI in 2026
Google is set to unveil its next-generation Home speaker in early 2026, powered by the new Gemini AI assistant. Alongside this, the tech giant has introduced two new wired Nest Cameras, offering enhanced security features.
The upcoming Google Home speaker will boast 360-degree sound and be the first to feature Gemini AI. It will launch internationally, starting in the USA, in spring 2026.
The new Nest Cameras, available now, provide 2K resolution and HDR support, along with a wide 152-degree field of view. They record six hours of video, capturing 10-second clips during events, and offer AI-based warnings and smart alerts. The Nest Outdoor Camera (2nd Gen) is priced at 150 euros, while the Nest Indoor Camera (3rd Gen) costs around 100 euros.
Google is integrating Gemini AI into its smart home platform, ensuring support for existing devices.
