FTV Capital Provides Growth Equity Financing to FundApps

London-based regulatory technology (RegTech) SaaS provider, FundApps, has announced a significant growth equity investment from FTV Capital. This funding will enable FundApps to accelerate its business expansion through organic development and strategic acquisitions.

FundApps, renowned for its enterprise-grade compliance capabilities, aims to strengthen its position as a leading end-to-end solution for shareholding disclosure and position limit monitoring. The company serves over 160 financial institutions managing more than $29 trillion in assets, including blue-chip institutions.

The investment will be used to innovate and expand its regulatory compliance platform, with a focus on product innovation. FundApps also plans to explore opportunistic acquisitions to further strengthen its capabilities and expand its market reach. The company will continue to build on its presence in North America, EMEA, and Asia, capitalising on the growing demand for regulatory compliance solutions driven by the evolving global regulatory landscape.

Brad Bernstein, managing partner at FTV Capital, stated that FundApps has established itself as a mission-critical platform. He added that the investment is significant for FTV in Europe, following recent investments in Windward, N2F, Validus, and Orbus Software.

FTV Capital brings deep expertise in the industry and access to a global network of blue-chip buy and sell-side institutions. With this partnership, FundApps aims to solidify its position as a trusted partner for regulatory compliance needs across the financial industry.

Andrew Patrick White, Founder and CEO of FundApps, expressed his excitement about the strategic investment. He highlighted that the investment will help FundApps to accelerate its growth by expanding its product offerings and strengthening its position in the trading regulatory compliance solutions market.

The investment marks a complete exit for Scottish Equity Partners (SEP), the previous investor. Brad Bernstein, Richard Earnshaw, and Max Weber have joined FundApps' board as part of the transaction.

Arma Partners advised FundApps, and Raymond James advised FTV Capital in the transaction. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
