Fintech startup Currency.com unveils its American executive team

Currency.com, a fintech company with operations spanning over 100 countries, is making significant strides in the American market. The mission of Currency.com is to deliver a seamless, customer-centric multi-service platform, integrating decentralized finance, traditional investments, and payments into a single, secure, and intelligent ecosystem.

Last month, the company launched a native mobile application, which is already accessible across all 31 states and internationally. In a bid to accelerate its U.S. expansion, Currency.com has appointed Enrico Serafini as the Chief Executive Officer, U.S., and Dave Ackerman as the Chief Operating Officer, U.S.

Enrico Serafini brings over two decades of experience in scaling high-growth fintech ventures and building trusted, innovative platforms. In his role, Serafini will spearhead Currency.com's expansion in the United States, focusing on regulatory strategy, digital asset infrastructure, and customer experience.

Dave Ackerman, the newly appointed COO, brings a proven track record in operational excellence and technology-driven transformation across leading financial institutions. Ackerman will oversee the execution of Currency.com's strategy for the American market, ensuring the delivery of frictionless, secure, and compliant financial services.

Ackerman emphasizes Currency.com's commitment to 'regulation by design' and its use of generative AI and high-performance infrastructure. He aims to deliver a truly frictionless experience for the US digital finance market, where users can transact, invest, and manage assets without barriers or complexity.

Konstantin Anissimov, Global Chief Executive Officer of Currency.com, expresses excitement about the appointments of Enrico Serafini and Dave Ackerman. He believes that their leadership is central to the firm's efforts to redefine the modern fintech platform in the U.S., positioning Currency.com as a notable global fintech challenger.

As U.S. CEO, Serafini will also be a senior advisor to international organizations across fintech, government, and critical infrastructure sectors. Ackerman, on the other hand, aims to achieve full licensure across all 50 states, with Currency.com recently securing its 31st Money Transmitter License in Tennessee.

Currency.com's focus on trusted technology, global licensing, and customer-centricity positions it to lead the next era of digital finance in America. The company's rapid growth across the U.S. market, under the leadership of Serafini and Ackerman, is set to reshape the fintech landscape in the country.

Serafini, in his role as U.S. CEO, will focus on integrating Currency.com's operations in the business sector, aiming to merge decentralized finance, traditional investments, and technology into a unified platform. Ackerman, as the COO, will oversee the execution of this strategy, ensuring the development of a secure and compliant technology-driven platform in the American market.
