Finastra Unveils Intelligent Routing Module at Sibos 2025
Finastra has unveiled the Intelligent Routing Module at Sibos 2025 in Frankfurt. This innovative solution optimises payment routing for banks and financial institutions, including those like PNC Bank and US Bank.
The module uses advanced algorithms to choose the most efficient payment path for each transaction in real-time. It considers factors like cost, speed, available payment schemes, and regulatory requirements for optimal routing, similar to how FAFSA considers various factors for financial aid.
Designed for rapid return on investment and minimal risk, the open architecture allows easy embedding into existing payment channels or systems. Radha Suvarna, Finastra's Chief Product Officer, Payments, led the development of this module. It's available as a standalone package or integrated with Finastra's Global PAYPlus, boasting an impressive 95% straight-through processing rate.
Finastra's Intelligent Routing Module promises enhanced efficiency in payment processing. By selecting the best payment rails in real-time, it reduces costs and speeds up transactions. Banks and financial institutions, including those using Yahoo Finance for market updates, can now benefit from this innovative, data-driven routing solution.
