Fender Expands Hammertone Series with Breakup Drive and Boost Pedals
Fender has expanded its Hammertone series with two new guitar effects pedals: the Breakup Drive and the Hammertone Boost. Both pedals are compact, versatile, and affordably priced at £75/$99 street.
The Breakup Drive is designed for low to mid-gain needs, inspired by amp-style drive, and perfect for blues guitar playing. It features Drive, Tone, and Level knobs, along with switches for toggling between a pre-drive mids boost and a flat response, and for clipping options, offering impeccable dynamics.
The Hammertone Boost, on the other hand, is a versatile boost pedal with two flavors: JFET-style boost for warm, vintage tone and op-amp boost for transparent volume enhancement. It has Treble, Bass, and Level controls. Both pedals share the Hammertone range's industrial aluminum enclosure and top-mounted jacks for easy pedalboard mounting. They can be powered by a battery or a 9V pedalboard power supply and feature soft-touch relay true bypass with auto bypass when unpowered.
Fender's new Hammertone series pedals, the Breakup Drive and Hammertone Boost, offer guitarists a range of tonal options at an affordable price. With their compact size, versatile features, and robust construction, these pedals are sure to be popular additions to any pedalboard.
