Explore Black Box's latest additions to their KVM remote controller lineup, designed with enhanced security in mind.
Black Box, a leading provider of IT infrastructure solutions, has announced the expansion of its Secure KVM product line across Europe, making its secure remote control solutions more accessible to customers in the region. This move comes as part of the company's commitment to enhancing workspace efficiency and streamlining secure operations in mission-critical environments.
The new Secure KVM product line includes two remote controllers: one digital with an LCD touch screen and one analog with straightforward source switching. These remote controllers are designed to improve operator efficiency and comfort in secure environments, as stated by David Isola, director of product marketing at Black Box.
The analog Secure KVM remote controller offers a cost-effective alternative for smaller setups, featuring simple button controls and robust construction. It provides straightforward, cost-effective switching between connected sources and supports up to four secure channels. Its user-friendly design, small size, and secure switching capabilities make it suitable in any secure environment.
The digital Secure KVM remote controller, on the other hand, is engineered to reduce desktop clutter by moving the primary secure KVM switch off the desk. It offers a customizable touch screen interface and supports up to 16 channels with automated port detection. Its sleek, intuitive control panel is both ergonomic and space-saving.
Key features of these new remote controllers include illuminated push buttons with color-coded LEDs that mirror the Secure KVM front panel, providing clear visual indication of the active channel. They also integrate with Black Box's Secure KVM (SKVM) systems, offering situational awareness by showing operators which secure enclave they are controlling.
In addition, the new remote controllers offer desktop ergonomic optimization through a stable remote control pad that declutters the workspace. They also feature visual parallels to SKVM front panels, including indicators such as Caps Lock, Num Lock, and Scroll Lock lights, mimicking enclave status for clear operator awareness.
The new Secure KVM product line expansion from Black Box provides solutions tailored to address any application, from controlling multi-classification systems without compromising security to enhancing operator control and comfort. This setup supports both digital and analog environments securely, facilitating smooth, error-resistant switching between connected systems in high-security areas.
Black Box's Secure KVM switches provide a single point of authorized access to multiple systems while maintaining information classification throughout all connected systems. This ensures that sensitive data remains secure even when switching between different systems.
With the expansion of its Secure KVM solutions across Europe, Black Box is set to continue its mission of providing innovative, reliable, and secure IT infrastructure solutions to businesses and organizations worldwide.
