Essential Space Update on Nothing Phone 3 Series Introduces Enhanced Sharing Features

Nothing has recently rolled out an update for its AI suite, Essential Space, on the Nothing Phone 3 series. This update brings a host of new sharing features, making it easier than ever to share your recorded content and saved items.

With this update, users can now share "Flip-to-Record" audio clips as audio files directly from an overflow menu. Moreover, the transcripts of these audio recordings can be shared as text, PDFs, or images. Similarly, "Memories" (such as images or screenshots saved in Essential Space) can be exported and shared as images, PDFs, or Markdown files.

The editing of AI-generated summaries and transcriptions is also now possible before sharing them. When sharing a Memory, Essential Space will create a snapshot that includes the image taken, its title, and the audio file's transcription. It's important to note that the original audio clip is not included in the sharing function for Memories.

The Essential Recorder also received a similar sharing function update, like Flip-to-Record. Users can save and share their Flip-to-Record audio recordings via various platforms like Google Drive, Android's Quick Share, Discord, and more. To access the share option, simply tap the three-dot menu in the overview after finishing a Flip-to-Record.

In addition to these improvements, the Closed Beta for Nothing OS 4.0, which is Android 16, has been announced. While sign-ups for the Closed Beta have since closed, an Open Beta is expected to begin in September. Furthermore, Nothing has also rolled in support for Google Calendar when syncing your to-do lists.

This update for Essential Space is the second in the past couple of weeks and includes the feature "Editable Memory," an AI-powered capability that learns about users' preferences for better reviews and summaries.

The update for Essential Space on the Phone 3 can also be manually installed via the Play Store. Users are advised to ensure they have the latest version of the app before attempting the installation.
