Enters patrons into the realm of artist Hans Memling, using SoundTube technology

In the heart of Bruges, Belgium, Museum St John's Hospital has become a hub for innovation, as it now hosts the immersive digital installation, the "Closer to Memling Experience". This interactive show, powered by SoundTube's IP-enabled speakers and switches, offers visitors a unique journey into the world of 15th-century Flemish painter Hans Memling.

Ocular, the integrator and creative force behind the project, collaborated with TAU Audio Solutions, SoundTube Entertainment's distributor in the Netherlands, to bring this digital marvel to life. The audio solution, designed to enhance and elevate the audiovisual storytelling, was carefully crafted to transport visitors back to Memling’s era.

The SoundTube IPD-SM500i-II-BK 5.25 speakers were chosen for their ability to deliver high-quality, clear audio that blends unobtrusively into the museum's monumental attic space. The speakers' discreet integration ensures they do not detract from the historical ambience, instead complementing the experience.

The STNet-Switch-II, a network switch from SoundTube, supports efficient network audio distribution throughout the installation. This technology ensures a seamless and reliable audio experience for all visitors.

The Leyard high-resolution LED wall complements the audio experience, providing a visual feast that further immerses visitors in Memling’s world. The combination of sound and vision creates an engaging and immersive experience that has been praised by both Ocular and Musea Brugge as a successful digital and interactive installation.

One client stated that the digital experience transforms the museum's atmosphere, making a visit to Museum St John's Hospital more engaging and immersive. The Closer to Memling Experience encourages visitors to come and see this innovative installation for themselves.
