Enhanced Business Spending with AI: Payhawk Introduces Four Enterprise-Focused AI Agents

Payhawk Unveils Fall '25 Product Edition, Revolutionising AI Finance Solutions

Payhawk, a leading finance technology company, has announced the launch of its Fall '25 Product Edition, expanding its AI Office of the CFO stack. This new edition aims to streamline everyday finance work and enhance control, transparency, and efficiency in finance departments.

The highlight of the new product edition is the introduction of AI agents, designed to handle key financial management functions. These agents, including those for Financial Controller, Procurement, Travel, and Payments, are set to revolutionise the way businesses manage their finances.

The Travel Agent, for instance, books travel within policy via natural language, auto-creates a trip report, groups expenses for one-click approval, and exports to ERP, saving up to 90 minutes per trip. Similarly, the Procurement Agent reduces request-to-purchase time by 60% by handling employee requests, applying budgets and policy, routing approvals, increasing card limits or creating purchase orders.

The Financial Controller Agent, on the other hand, speeds up month-end closing by automatically uploading documents, flagging anomalies, and escalating reminders, resulting in expenses being submitted 2x faster. The Payments Agent deflects approximately 40% of helpdesk work for finance teams by providing instant answers on failed transactions, blocked cards, pending reimbursements, or funding issues, and proposing compliant next steps.

These AI agents complete everyday finance work following roles, policies, and approvals set by finance. They guide employees end-to-end through each process and collect approvals in the background. Over time, the agents learn preferences and anticipate needs, resulting in faster completion of tasks with less wasted effort.

The design of Payhawk's AI orchestration is invisible, ensuring seamless integration into existing finance processes. The agents act within the user's controls and finish real finance tasks. The easy-to-use nature of these AI agents is beneficial for both employees and the business.

In addition to the AI agents, the Fall '25 Product Edition of Payhawk includes enhanced role/permission controls and additional platform improvements. The edition also includes global payments at 0.3% FX in 115 currencies in partnership with Gemini Payments.

Hristo Borisov, CEO and Co-founder of Payhawk, states that enterprises need outcomes, not just chat. He emphasises that Payhawk's AI agents are designed to deliver tangible benefits to businesses, not just provide a chat interface.

The majority of agents on the market today lack enterprise capabilities for widespread adoption, such as permissions, policies, multi-tenancy, audit trails, and data security standards. Payhawk's AI agents, however, are designed with these enterprise needs in mind, making them suitable for businesses of all sizes.

In conclusion, Payhawk's Fall '25 Product Edition represents a significant step forward in AI-driven finance solutions. By introducing AI agents for key financial management functions, Payhawk is set to transform the way businesses manage their finances, making them more efficient, transparent, and compliant.
