Enhanced 4G Services: Boost in Communication and Mobile Internet in Mirna Region
In the heart of eastern Siberia, the Mirinsky District in Yakutia is witnessing a significant leap in its telecommunications infrastructure. A series of upgrades and modernizations have been implemented to cater to the growing demand for stable and reliable internet access in the region.
Megafon, a leading telecommunications provider, has spearheaded these improvements. Base stations in Udachny, Aikhal, and Almazny have been modernized, with frequencies upgraded to the latest standard and an additional 4G layer added. This enhancement supports more simultaneous connections, ensuring a quality connection even during peak hours.
The average download speeds in these modernized areas have risen to 25-30 Mbps, with Udachny reaching a maximum of 150 Mbps. Two new base stations have been constructed in the Mirinsky District, further contributing to the improved network.
The telecom infrastructure in the Mirinsky District has been continually improved, with the aim of increasing signal range and call quality. The city of Mirny, home to more than 50,000 residents, now boasts additional base stations operating on low, mid, and high-frequency LTE layers, increasing network coverage and capacity.
Maria Mamayeva, Megafon's Director in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), emphasized the importance of these advancements for resident comfort and economic development. "Stable connectivity and internet access are crucial in today's digital age," she stated. "These improvements will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the lives of our residents and the growth of local businesses."
The project to enhance the network in the Mirinsky District was carried out by Megafon specialists, who have also worked to reduce load on equipment and improve stability and data transfer speeds. One station in the city of Mirny has been enhanced specifically to improve web page loading, link opening, file downloading, and messaging speed.
Six existing base stations in the Mirinsky District have been modernized with optimal frequency band combinations. These upgrades have resulted in a 17% increase in mobile traffic compared to last year, reflecting the widespread use of the internet by locals for various activities, including at home, on the go, in stores, schools, at work, and during leisure time.
As remote regions like the Mirinsky District continue to grow and evolve, the need for robust telecommunications infrastructure becomes increasingly important. With these upgrades, residents and businesses can look forward to a more connected future. For accurate and detailed information on recent developments specific to the Mirinsky District, consulting official regional telecommunications providers or government announcements would be necessary.
Smartphones and gadgets are now enjoying better connectivity in the Mirinsky District, thanks to Megafon's enhancement of the telecommunications infrastructure, which includes the addition of 4G layers and the construction of new base stations.
