Electrifying the Marine Landscape: Axopar's Latest Offerings

Boat enthusiasts prepare for a wave of change as Axopar unveils its groundbreaking electric boat range - the AX/E 22 and AX/E 25.

Axopar has made a splash in the boating world by announcing its venture into the realm of electric boats, ushering in the AX/E 22 and AX/E 25 under its unique AX/E branding.

The AX/E 25, boasting a top speed conveniently exceeding 50 knots, is equipped with the robust Evoy Storm electric outboard. The AX/E 22, on the other hand, showcases an Evoy Breeze motor, with a nominal power of 120hp (90kW) and a peak output of 183hp (137kW) [1][2].

Equipped with a 63kWh lithium battery pack, the AX/E 22 promises a quoted range of 50 nautical miles at lower speeds, albeit offering a shorter range when operating at full tilt. In contrast, the AX/E 25's 126kWh battery pack enables a quoted range of 60 nautical miles at lower speeds [1].

"We actively embrace the evolution of electrification, and our partnership with Evoy puts us on the front lines of this transformation," said Jan-Erik Viitala, one of Axopar's founding partners, expressing his commitment to the green future of the marine industry [1].

These electric Axopar boats made their debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September, with deliveries of production boats anticipated to commence in early 2025.
