Dubai Hosts Expand North Star 2022: Gateway for Startups to Scale Globally
Dubai is set to host the 10th edition of Expand North Star, the world's largest gathering for startups and investors, from 12 to 15 October at Dubai Harbour. The four-day exhibition is expected to attract thousands of investors, entrepreneurs, and innovators, providing a strategic gateway for startups to scale globally.
Organised by Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, Expand North Star aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) to boost Dubai's position among the world's top digital economies. Since its inception in 2016, the event has helped numerous startups secure major investments and partnerships, with notable success stories including Moove, Obo, Freshcraft Technologies, and Zaara Biotech.
Saeed Al Gergawi, Vice President of Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, described Expand North Star as a 'strategic gateway' for startups to expand their reach beyond Dubai. Early-stage ventures like ShopDoc and Machbee Innovations have also benefited from the event, with one startup financially supported by investors at the 10th edition reaching a multi-million dollar valuation.
The 10th edition of Expand North Star promises to be another significant milestone for Dubai's startup ecosystem, offering a platform for entrepreneurs to connect with investors, form strategic partnerships, and accelerate their growth trajectory.
