Uniview's OwlView Series Revolutionizes Night Vision Surveillance Technology
Uniview, in collaboration with Blackwire Designs, has unveiled the cutting-edge OwlView Series, a game-changer in the realm of surveillance technology. This series, powered by Uniview's fifth-generation night view technology, Wise-ISP, significantly improves low-light image quality.
The Wise-ISP technology, employed for image processing, combines advanced hardware and intelligent image processing to deliver clear, full-color, high-definition footage even in very dark conditions.
Key improvements enabled by Wise-ISP include increased light capture, advanced image signal processing, full-color night vision, high dynamic range, scene adaptability, noise and motion blur reduction, and reduced glare from LED lights.
OwlView cameras use a large 1/1.8" image sensor paired with an ultra-wide F1.0 aperture lens, allowing more than 2.5 times the light compared to earlier models, ensuring brighter images with less motion blur in low-light environments.
Wise-ISP technology goes beyond hardware by intelligently processing the captured image to boost brightness and vibrancy while suppressing noise and color distortion commonly seen in low-light footage. This results in vivid, detailed full-color video throughout the night.
The OwlView Series also boasts features like auto-scene matching and Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) up to 120–130 dB, allowing the camera to balance bright and dark areas in the frame, avoiding overexposure from LED glare and preserving detail in shadows.
Moreover, the series delivers vivid, full-color images in ultralow-light conditions without additional LED lighting, marking a significant leap forward in security and surveillance capabilities. The night is made as bright and colorful as day with this exclusive advancement.
The OwlView Series is not only technologically superior but also durable, featuring a metal housing and a graphene front cover that ensures 50% faster heat dissipation. Additionally, the series is IP67 water- and dust-proof rated, ensuring reliability in various weather conditions.
