dBTechnologies Unveils Powerful VIO W12T Coaxial Active Monitor
dBTechnologies has unveiled the VIO W12T, a robust 12" coaxial active monitor. Designed primarily for monitoring, it also serves well in stage wings, choir loft fills, and utility roles.
The W12T boasts a 12" / 1.3" coaxial neodymium transducer, paired with a rotatable 60° × 40° horn, delivering a powerful 138 dB SPL. It's driven by a 1600W RMS Class-D amplifier with 32-bit / 96 kHz DSP, ensuring crystal-clear sound.
The monitor, weighing 22.5 kg (49 pounds), integrates seamlessly with VIO W-series accessories for flown and installed configurations. Its polyurea-coated wooden enclosure, with a wrap-around powder-coated metal grille and recessed handle, guarantees durability.
The W12T offers a suite of selectable high-pass filters for precise tuning. It also features native RDNet support via AuroraNet and an expansion slot for A2Net or Dante networking, providing flexible connectivity options.
The VIO W12T, released in October 2025, is a versatile and powerful monitor, ready for various deployment scenarios with optional rigging hardware. Its design and features make it an excellent choice for professional audio setups.
